Thirty nine (39) years broad experience in the practice of law having previously served as Assistant County Attorney, Sheridan, Wyoming, former Deputy District Attorney,13th Judicial District, Colorado and with extensive civil and criminal litigation experience in the areas of commercial, banking, oil and gas, real estate and domestic litigation; served two terms (4 years, 2001-2005) as Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commissioner. Admitted to the practice in State and Federal Courts in Colorado and Federal Court in Wyoming, as well as administrative experience as one of the founders, former president and director of public company, Envirojor Medical; one of the founders, directors and executive officer of the bank holding company that owned Stockgrowers State Bank, Worland Wyoming, as well as owner and director of Stockgrowers State Bank, Worland, Wyoming; former managing director of law firm, Bonner & Ewing, as well as 37 years, owning and operating successful law practice in Colorado and Wyoming with annual revenues in excess of $100,000 per year.

After graduating from Law School in 1968, and while serving in the U.S. Army, received numerous awards including the following: Commanding General's Award, American Spirit Honor Award, Battalion Trainee of the Cycle, Acting Platoon Sergeant of the Cycle, National Defense Medal. Thereafter (1969), received a direct commission as Lieutenant, Judge Advocate Corp (JAG), U.S. Navy Reserve, retired at rank of Lieutenant Commander.
PERSONAL
Born, September 19, 1942. Married. Two Children. Active in civic and professional organizations, past chairman of the Denver Bar Association, County Court Sub-Committee of the Judicial Administration Committee, serving two terms (4 years, 2001-2005) as Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commissioner. Also enjoy flying, fishing, skiing, golf, team-roping, and winning.
